Andrea Campbell is the Recreation Supervisor for the Incorporated Village of Lynbrook and has been teaching at Create Dance Center since the 2nd year itwas opened. She received her BS in health and physical education from Long Island University and her Masters in Communication Arts at NYIT. Starting at the age of 3 she studied dance at Nancy's Dance Factory-now known as NDF. In high school she was on the Farmingdale Kickline, Dance, & Pom Team which she eventually coached for two years after graduating college. At Long Island University, she danced for the C.W. Post Dance Team and competed every year in the UDA/ESPN College National Dance Championships in Walt Disneyworld. The team made the finals round her senior year and ranked 12th place in the nation. In her college years, she worked with the Farmingdale State College Theater group and performed in the show "Godspell".
Andrea has a license to teach Zumba Fitness, Zumba Sentao, and Zumbini. She teaches classes at the recreation center in Lynbrook and also at Create Dance. At the recreation center she instructs dance classes from 2 years of age to 13 along with Mommy & Me classes, Arts & Crafts, and theater. In her off time, she plays competitive soccer for the Levittown Mermaids in the Long Island Women's Soccer League. Andrea loves to canvas paint, does photography, and can't get enough of her puppy, Jackson.
