Stephanie Miele's career and passion for dance began at the age of 4 years old at a private dance school where she studied all forms of dance for many years which included ballet, tap, jazz, hiphop, modern, lyrical and contemporary. As Stephanie entered High School, she joined the Lindenhurst High School Dance Ensemble, as well as, tryed out and was accepted onto the Varsity Dance Team. Through her high school career dancing as a part of the Lindenhurst Dance Ensemble, her choreography, artistry and talent was showcased in numerous dances performed in each dance concert. Stephanie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Farmingdale State College in 2016. She continues to currently choreograph, teach and perform through the MA K-12 Dance Education graduate program, at CUNY Hunter College. Stephanie believes that teaching dance is like a figure eight because she gets to learn from her students while simultaneously learning from her own experience teaching. She strives to provide each of her students with insights that they will look back on and pull from as they continue to grow as a dancer and as a person.
